You already know Wednesdays are for leveling up. Now here’s your backstage pass to what’s coming next in the Indie Author Training Speaker Series. Expert insights, live Q&As, and even a few perks—here’s what’s headed your way this coming Wednesday…

Are You Ready to Record? Preparing Your Manuscript, Preparing your Voice

Mary Catherine Jones shared so much knowledge in her session Audiobooks: From microphone to marketplace that we know this new webinar is going to be packed full of what to do to record your own audiobook. The first half focuses on adapting your text for audio—what to revise, what to cut, and how to shape language for the listener’s ear. The second half offers practical guidance for the recording day itself: what to wear (and avoid), what to eat (and not), plus warmups, mic technique, and performance tips.

If you'd like to receive guidance on your narration in the live session, bring along up to 150 of your words to read and Mary Catherine will advise you. And, intriguingly, don't forget to bring a cork!
